Course Description:  This course includes three full classes: Oracle 10g Administration I, Oracle 10g Administration II, and Oracle 11g new features.  This course is designed to give you a firm foundation in database administration.  In this class, you'll learn how to install and maintain an Oracle database; how to create an operational database and properly manage the various structures in an effective and efficient manner.  You’ll learn the concepts and architecture that can do the most important job of a DBA-backup and recovery, performance and tuning and the 11g new features as well.   The lesson topics are reinforced with structured hands-on practices.

This course is designed to prepare you for the corresponding Oracle10g & 11g Certified Associate(OCA) exam and Oracle 10g & 11g Certified Professional (OCP) exam.

Students will have to take a separate exam to be certificated.
